What a day!

Irene (hurricane) is coming north . . . Libya (transfer of power; rebels overtook Muammar Qaddafi after a 42-year rule) . . . Wall Street up (+322 points) . . . earthquake (5.8 outside of DC; tremors felt here on CBL at 2 pm for a good 15-20 seconds) . . . Graham & Bart safe . . . Thompson's 2nd day of school . . . Melissa's French classes are gearing-up . . . AND . . . Avery has first dental procedure towards implants tomorrow.  Let's all say a special prayer for her dentist, his staff and for Avery tomorrow!  And, pray for William as MaMere is kicking-in her parenting/principalship skills for the next few days ;-) . . . Bobby's routine continues cash, trash and transportation!

PS: I (Papere) did have to stop a couple of times on 85 South where it appeared some concrete had fallen on the road as a product of the east coast earthquake . . . at least that's what the highway patrolman told me as I passed by (in single file). Finally got to Atlanta without any further problems.
