Chattanooga Trip

We're back from a brief, and I mean brief (28 hours), trip to Chattanooga, TN.  We left Friday morning for Rossville, GA where we visited with Ida, Bobby's father's secretary for many years.  She never had children of her own, and always treated Bobby and his brother Ash as her boys.  We had a great visit - her first time meeting William - and she continues to selfishly wish we lived closer so she could spoil Thompson and William as she did Bobby and Ash.  Later that afternoon we went to Cleveland, TN where we saw our "eldest daughter" Katie Freeman into her dorm at Lee University.  Thompson was excited to see where his "sister" would be living.  We crashed at the Hampton Inn (William's first night in a hotel room!) and then took the scenic trip back to Asheville via the Ocoee River Saturday morning.  Thompson awoke this morning ready for tomorrow...he gets to go back to school and meet all his friends in his class.
