New Kicks

Check out Thompson's newest shoes! Believe it or not...these are his very first pair of "tennis" shoes. He's enjoying them and claims they help him run "super fast". As a bonus, he can get them on by himself. Not to mention, he looks like quite the young boy when he's sporting them.

Well-visits: 4 mos & 4 yrs

Both boys saw Dr. Paschall this afternoon for their well-visit: Thompson's 4-year and William's 4-month. Not surprisingly, both boys are doing great and received great reports. Drum roll please...

Thompson is 40" tall and weighs 35.6 lbs. This keeps him in on the line between the 25-50th percentiles. His blood pressure was 98/60, and he passed both his vision and hearing tests.

William is 25" long and weighs 15 lbs 0.5 ozs...a bit bigger than Thompson was at the same age (nearly 2 lbs and 1/4")...and is smack-dab on the 50th percentile line.

Japanese Dining

We joined our dear friends and neighbors the Freemans to celebrate Kristine's (aka Nay-Nay) birthday at Ichiban, a local Japanese Steakhouse. Thompson was captivated watching the chef cook his meal right in front of him and made sure that his "sisters" Katie and Anna didn't miss a moment of it. And since then, he's enjoyed pretending to replicate the chef's efforts at home. Future chef...who knows?

Aunt G and the Boys

Graham was able to secure an inexpensive last minute flight down to "The Tarheel State" from the "Big Apple" this past weekend to visit and love on her two favorite nephews. The five of us had a great time...and we made sure G got some good 'ole NC barbeque with dinner at Luella's Bar-B-Que Saturday night. Thompson was disappointed to see Aunt G leave after only 2 sleepy times, but is anticipating see her again in April. We love you G!
