Arigato!

Quite often, when we arrive in Greensboro (headed for the "city house") we pass a Japanese steakhouse called Arigato.  The boys (Bobby included) love pronouncing it in a very distinct way and, as such, it has become a funny phrase in our family.

We decided William was old enough and ready to experience dining at a Japanese steakhouse.  So, we headed to Ichiban with the Freeman clan {Herb, Kristine, Katie and Herb's mother "Grammy"}.  (The last time we were at Ichiban was 3 years ago when we first took Thompson.)

The fire definitely startled William...but it prepared him for the fires he'd see at the other grills.  (I think he considered those fires to be at a safer distance than the one at our grill.)  And William could spot the "pee-ing" man at a distance ready to drop trou to put out the fires.  A great first time, and as William told us in the car on the way home, "Ichiban was very awesome."
