Beach Week - Sept. 15-22

We had another great time at the beach this fall...and this time daddy was able to join us.  I can honestly say we found time to relax and escape!  We returned to "Sea Watch" in Emerald Isle, NC with Mamere and Papere and their beach buddies.  We could not have asked for better weather...great ocean breeze with temps in the mid-70's.  We had one evening of rain, which resulted in an overcast morning the following day, so we went to the NC Aquarium in Pine Knolls Shores (just up the beach).  The boys enjoyed digging in the sand, running on the beach, jumping in the waves, fishing with Mr. Charles, digging for sand fleas, watching the porpoises, sand cliff jumping, and so much more!  William was doubtful of the ocean on the first day, but by the second day, we had convinced him to get his feet wet...and that was all he needed.  He loved wading in the surf and jumping over the waves.  We spent our mornings on the beach and cooled off pool-side in the afternoons.  There lots of pictures, but they tell the story...enjoy!
