Honey

Yesterday over lunch, Bobby asked me to get him something from the kitchen and I used the endearing term "Honey" to repsond to him.  Thompson inquired, "Why do you call him 'Honey'?"  So we talked about how it is a name I use for daddy since I love him, just as we have endearing nicknames for Thompson.  We asked, "what does daddy call mommy?"  Thompson's response, "Babe."  He then paused for a few seconds and replied, "So there are two honeys, the kind we have in our pantry and what you call daddies."
