Elfred has joined us once again this Christmas season and, the clever fella he is, opted to make his appearance yesterday morning ready to celebrate the big day. With school out, Thompson opted for a mid-afternoon bowling outing with a few of his friends. Heartfelt thanks once again to Aunt G and Uncle B for the birthday cake! (The boys love this annual birthday gift and tradition and Denise Richards continues to amazes us with her creations.) The birthday concluded with dinner at Juicy Lucy's with Annie & Poppy and Herbie & NayNay.
One unexpected and unsolicited highlight from the day was running into two of Thompson's swim team coaches earlier in the morning. I was seeking information about upcoming meets and, before leaving, had asked generally how Thompson was doing. Coach Kirk said he was doing great and always shows up with a smile. Coach Brian added that Thompson's attitude is infectious - to which Coack Kirk agreed. And for those of us who know T-man, what a blessing his infectious spirit is!
