T tackles Sugar Creek Youth Tri

We spent Labor Day morning in Greer, SC's Sugar Creek neighborhood for their 5th Annual Youth Triathlon.  It was the largest triathlon in which Thompson has participated with 193 participants, and the longest with a 100 yard swim, 4 mile bike and 1.3 mile run.  Our morning started early with a 6:45 am arrival at the race venue to prepare for the 8 am start.  Thompson had a great race, placing 5th in his age division, and most importantly, he had FUN!  He also enjoyed seeing Adam and Oliver Porter, two boys who live in Asheville and have participated in the CKMS alongside Thompson.
